Chronicl is Beautiful

You’ve probably already figured this one out by now. When I designed Chronicl, I made sure to get everything right when it came to looks. Typography, whitespace, colors, you name it. Chronicl is definitely a simple skin, but I don’t feel like it is in the same category as many “minimalistic and simple skins,” just for the fact that it has mixed good-looks and minimalism perfectly.

Build Beautiful Menus

Blog navigation is important, and Chronicl makes it easy for you to create an awesome blog navigation menu. Chronicl uses the powerful font set, the WebSymbols typeface, which makes creating icons easy and without any image editing! Powerful stuff, right?

Easy Design Options

Chronicl allows you to be a designer. It comes loaded with 12 different color schemes and 12 different background patterns. Adding your own is easy too! Of course, there are other options that give you more control over your site too.

Awesome Archives Page

Keeping with my goal of making Chronicl a skin for bloggers, Chronicl comes loaded with a slick archives page that will organize a lot of content automatically on your site.

Widgets

Chronicl comes with some extra widgets that make putting content into your site real easy. Create dazzling optin forms, display your blog’s most popular posts and create a stunning “about you” widget and list your social media profiles. Yep, WebSymbols typeface has been built-in here too.

In all honesty, Marketers Delight is a beast of a theme.

It has a ton of things that will improve the way your site functions right out of the box. Of course, if you’re after good looks — it has that too.

3. Smart Code, Easy-to-use Options…

Sure, there’s a lot Marketers Delight can do. You’d think that something that can do all this would be sloppily coded with options all over the place.

Well, you’d be wrong.

Before I created Marketers Delight 2, I worked with a lot of clients. Some, who had a great idea of WordPress. And most, who have probably only touched WordPress a small handful of times.

I learned that the best way to create any theme is to assume that whoever is going to use it has the most basic knowledge of WordPress. Even if it’s not true.

That’s why I didn’t design a ridiculous options panel, or add thousands of options to the theme. Most of what you see in Marketers Delight works right out of the box, and you really only have to configure options if you want to.

And of course, since Marketers Delight is built on Thesis (probably the best-coded theme out there), I made sure all the code I put into the theme was written as neat, organized and as best as I could. So that way, your page speed isn’t decreased and you don’t have sloppy code.

You may not understand how crucial this is, but clean code is a big deal. And not something you have to worry about with Marketers Delight 2.
