You know, I sat in front of this blank screen trying to figure out what the hell I wanted to write about myself. I can design for myself. I can cook for myself. I can even make my bed myself. But I kind of suck at talking about myself.

I’m not much of a 3rd person speaker, so here’s a little 1st person insight into the life of… me!

Background

My name is Alex Mangini, and I’m an 18 year old designer/blogger based in beautiful New Jersey (lol).

I started designing in Photoshop + blogging at the age of 14, and freelancing at 15. I love cooking, football, working out, Beats headphones and traveling.

Education

On June 17th, 2011 I became an alumni of Northern Burlington Regional High School (class of 2011, baby!).

Easily one of the best years of my life, and I’d like to especially thank Senior Trip for that .

I don’t go to college, I’ve never attended a college class and I really don’t see much of a college “education” in my future.

Ever since launching this site back in 2007, it’s been one freakin’ mess. From a personal portfolio, to a business to selling Thesis skins, back to a personal portfolio… it’s been all over the place.

Right now, you are looking at the fourth major iteration of this site. I’ve always wanted a site where I could do the following things:

• Write blog posts about my crazy beliefs/opinions on WordPress, designing, entrepreneurship and other fun stuff.
• A place to easily sell my Thesis skins.
• A spot to release cool freebies and other stuff (ok, this is still in the works).
• Somewhere to tell my story

I’m hoping to keep everything organized and stick with my goal building an amazing community of people looking to improve their business and live the life of their dreams.
